neutral
In reference to color, neutral means any shade between black and white. While most grays have a hint of a color, a “neutral gray” is void of any color hint whatsoever. Neutral can also refer to an image that primarily uses grey tones, such as a photo of a silver car against a gray backdrop.
newsprint
A grade of paper containing about 85% groundwood and 15% unbleached sulfite. The weight is from 30 to 45 lbs and the surface is coarse and absorbent. Used for printing newspapers and low-cost fliers or broadsheets. See groundwood for further explanation.
